I purchased a book for my son as we like reading books together. When we were reading we got to know this story about Santa when his reindeers got ill. Especially when the visitors are mostly children. Santa visited his reindeer and found that they are really unwell to carry his sleigh. Santa told then to take rest as they had severe cold.

Many people gave him suggestions. Some told him to deliver gifts in own car as there are no public transport running that day. Also Santa's timing of travel is very odd. No public transport runs after midnight. Also it will be very tiring for Santa to drive his car and then walk to every house to deliver gifts. After all he is too old to handle all this. So all these suggestions doesn't impress Santa and he was not convinced. So he said that he will travel by Reindeer.

He ordered his men to bring reindeers from the zoo. So he called the man who takes care of animals in the zoo. He ordered him to send reindeers and he is Santa speaking. The man was surprised and he denied sending reindeers as there is no Santa Clause in real. Santa got angry over this and reminds him of his past. When as a child once he wanted a real looking farm as his wish on Christmas Eve. Santa granted his wish and stuffed his stockings with farm animals as well. The man was astonished and immediately agreed to send reindeers for him. However he wanted to know how will these reindeer fly in the sky as Santa Clause's. Then Santa instructed him to pain their hoofs. The man sent the reindeers well groomed and Santa Was very happy with his work. With the help of these reindeer Santa finished his task of distributing gifts on Christmas Eve and thanked the zoo keeper with lots of gifts. Reindeers also reached their dwelling place, the Zoo.
