Thames Festival 2018

This festival is actully a month event that runs entire september. PotteryMarket celebrates Thames festival with zeal and enthusiasm.

Its an annual celebration of river Thames with creative and diverse program that inspires, connects and enthrals.

Commemorating the event, the first week marks the magficent exhibition of river inspired artwork created by young people around the world. They work in collaboration with professional artists to explore and express what rivers mean to communities today.

Second week is dedicated to RAP party. Rhythm and poetry sail down Thames for a nostalgic, no clutter, no fuss, night of hip hop inspired poems and favourite hip hop songs.

The third week is dedicated to the oldest Boat Race. A series of outdoor exhibitions bringing  to life this hidden history. This is worlds oldest historical continually competed sporting event "The Race for Doggett's coat and Badge".

Other events marks Bascule Chamber Concert. Composer and Curator  lain chambers returns to fill the atmospheric subterranian Victorian space at Tower bridge with a brand new programe.

Another remarkable event is Bengal's Durga.A rare insight into the outpouring of creativity, artistic innovation and cultural celebration of Bengal's riverine communities in an outdoor photography exhibition.

And this festival is roled up with a Romanian day , one day dedicated to old or new Romanian things , in celebration of making of United Romania.
